The Salies-de-Béarn spa, opposite the public garden, dates from the 19th century. The establishment specializes in fitness with several pools supplied with thermal water.

The salt fossilized in the layers of the Aquitaine Basin for more than 200 million years, filters the water which rises and crosses the rocks, recovering minerals and salt, giving it therapeutic virtues. The salt concentration is ten times higher than sea water and Dead Sea water, which gives Salies-de-Béarn water medicinal properties.
