Between sea and mountains, the Camping des Salines in Salies-de-Béarn offers an exceptional starting point for discovering all the riches of the South-West, from visits to activities in the Béarn-Pays Basque region. Less than an hour away, explore Pau, the capital of Béarn, with its royal castle where Henri IV grew up and its famous “Boulevard des Pyrénées” offering a grandiose view of the Pic du Midi d’Ossau.

Prefer the beach? Head for Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de-Luz or Hendaye! Pearls of the Basque Country, renowned for their beaches, gastronomy and lively atmosphere, these emblematic towns are ideal for enjoying a magnificent sunset or strolling through their narrow streets.

And for a change of scenery, cross the border and discover San Sebastian, a superb Spanish coastal city just 1 h 15 from the campsite, famous for its shell-shaped Concha Bay and refined gastronomy (or the famous typical pintxos ). After your excursions, return to the calm of the Béarn region, its lush green landscapes and the peaceful atmosphere of Camping des Salines, a haven of nature and relaxation.

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful region of Béarn for a successful vacation in the Pyrenees.
